Farewell to the Class of 2024: A Time of Reflection and Celebration.
As 2024 draws to a close, our Year 12 students have embarked on the final leg of their journey at our school. It’s been a period filled with emotions, memorable moments, and heartfelt goodbyes, marking the end of an era for students and faculty alike.
The onset of the term was bittersweet as our seniors experienced their last “first day” at school. Their final day at school was nothing short of memorable as the Year 12s dressed as iconic figures from the 2000s for their last school assembly. The day concluded with a dinner, providing a perfect opportunity for students to enjoy one another’s company and reflect on their shared experiences. This journey reached its peak at the Graduation Ceremony held at True North, where a prestigious night was dedicated to celebrating the achievements and milestones of our students, marking a significant chapter in their lives.
We will be thinking and praying for our students who have ATAR exams ahead of them. Our students’ hard work and dedication are commendable, and we have every confidence in their success.
To the Class of 2024, congratulations on your achievements. As you move on to new adventures, remember the times you’ve shared and the lessons you’ve learned here. Remember that you don’t have to do this next chapter of your life alone. Be ready, and when life puts you down, know who has your back. Get back up and lean on God – as with Him, nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37).
Finally, we hope our graduates remember the words in Jeremiah 29:11 as they move forward: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
