A Celebration of Cultural Diversity and Community
Our school recently celebrated International Day, a fun and educational event that brought together students in a spectacular display of colours, styles and cultures. Dressed in traditional attire from their diverse origins, students enthusiastically shared insights about their backgrounds with their classmates.
In the spirit of cultural exchange, many classes conducted special inquiries into various cultures, allowing students to delve deeper into the customs and traditions that make our world so unique. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the sharing of traditional food, with students bringing in delicious dishes that represented their heritage.
Students reflected on how fortunate we are to live in Australia, a vibrant nation that welcomes people from all corners of the globe. Events like International Day provide us with the perfect opportunity to learn from one another, celebrate our differences, and strengthen our sense of community.
