Loud Shirt Day at Northshore – A Colourful Success!
We are excited to share that Loud Shirt Day at Northshore was a fantastic success! It was inspiring to see our school filled with vibrant colours as students wore their brightest shirts to show support for Telethon Speech and Hearing Australia.
This special event not only brought joy and excitement to our school community but also raised awareness about the invaluable work of the Telethon Speech and Hearing Programmes. This initiative is dedicated to supporting children with hearing loss, ensuring they have equal access to both educational and social opportunities alongside their peers.
The Telethon Speech and Hearing team, consisting of education and allied health professionals, collaborates closely with our Northshore staff to provide tailored support for each student. Every child receives an individualised support programmes that is developed with input from parents, school staff, and the Outpost team. This customised assistance can include language and speech therapy, auditory support, social/emotional guidance, occupational therapy, and academic help, all designed to meet the specific needs of each child.
Thank you to everyone who participated in Loud Shirt Day! Let’s continue to support these important initiatives!
