Northshore Christian Grammar School currently offer a range of scholarships to encourage aspiration and excellence.
The teachers and staff at Northshore love to see Northshore students excel, so we prioritise encouraging our students in their development and growth. An important part of this support includes awarding a range of scholarships to encourage aspiration and excellence.
Year 7 Academic Scholarships
Each year, three academic scholarships are offered for Year 7 and a further three in Year 10. Academic scholarships provide fee remission for a period of three years, with extensions offered providing academic standards are maintained and the student fulfils all scholarship requirements, e.g. school representation.
Registration for the academic scholarships in 2024 has now closed.
Sports
Sports scholarships are offered to any student who obtains state or national representation in their chosen sport/s. Like academics, sports are highly valued at Northshore and encouraging health and physical activity is very important. The scholarship comes with a fee remission to support families who go to great lengths and often great costs to enable their children to pursue sporting excellence.
Service
Northshore recognises many students for their ongoing commitment to serving their communities. These examples of service can take many different forms and applicants should speak to the school if they are unsure as to their suitability for the scholarship. Applications may be considered for fee remission to acknowledge this student’s contribution to the wider community.
Arts
If a student is recognised in their chosen artistic field, they should apply for a Northshore Arts scholarship. Each scholarship application is considered individually and is at the discretion of the principal.
Criteria for arts scholarship include
- A Portfolio and/or
- State and/or international recognition and/or
